Mona Dairy head to the House of Commons

Mona Dairy recently signed up to the Food and Drink Careers Passport Pledge which is being delivered by the National Skills Academy Food & Drink, so that all employees can get skills training specific to the food and drink manufacturing industry.

Mona Dairy’s HR Manager, Sarah Croud, said: “This is a huge support to the food industry, supporting current employees within the sector and also providing the essential training required to people looking to join the food industry.  The courses are interactive and fun and give assurance to employees as all courses are endorsed by the Food Standards Agency.”

Alongside introducing the company to the benefits of the passport scheme, Sarah has also been invited by the National Skills Academy Food & Drink to support the official launch of the careers passport at their reception to be held at the House of Commons on Monday 5th September.

Sarah will join other companies from within the food and drink industry in London to support the launch and encourage more manufacturers to sign up to the Pledge.

The Skills Passport ensures all those employees that are registered on the scheme have access to receive training in four core areas; Food Safety Level 2, HACCP Level 2, Health & Safety Level 2 and Allergens Awareness.

All employees at Mona Dairy have enrolled to receive training in these key areas which have been developed in partnership with leading food and drink manufacturers.
